Amanda is a Licensed Master’s Level Social Worker in the state of Connecticut with three years in the field. Local to Connecticut, she graduated from Central Connecticut State University in 2017 with a B.A. in Psychological Sciences and her Master’s degree from Springfield College in May of 2020. She has always been interested in helping others and was drawn to the mental health field to make an impact in individual’s lives. She strongly believes it takes courage and strength to reach out for help and uses her empathy to create strong therapeutic alliances with her clients, getting them to a place of peace.
Being a veteran herself, Amanda currently works with veteran’s during the day and is looking to help people of all backgrounds in her free time. Aside from veterans, she has experience working across the lifespan, from children to older adults. She is also experienced in working with clients who have ADHD, anxiety, depression, and trauma. Her way of practice includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Strength Based, Trauma Focus, Culturally Sensitive, person-centered approach.
Amanda is excited to be in a practice that integrates a holistic practice in their approach to healing at Infinity Integrated Counseling and Holistic Wellness Center, LLC.
